Egypt is dotted with numerous temples built over 2000 years and dedicated to their ancient gods and pharaohs. Below is a list of the main temples of Ancient Egypt:

The set of Luxor - Karnak temples forms one of the most impressive complex of Ancient Egypt. They are separated by about three kilometers and an avenue of sphinxes joined them. Thebes was the capital of Egypt in the heyday of the empire. The main temples were Luxor and Karnak. The Great Hypostyle Hall at Karnak Temple is an architectural wonder. It is a huge forest of columns in which the visitor can "lose" and one of the images of Ancient Egypt most played.

The temple is adjacent to but not in the Valley of the Kings, and is distributed in terraces that fit perfectly into the environment. From a distance you can see the sobriety of the columns and it is a milestone in Egyptian architecture for its beauty and uniqueness.

- Temple of Sobek and Haroeris (Horus the Elder) The Temple of Kom Ombo is dedicated to Horus and Sobek, the crocodile god. - Temple of Ramses II at Abu Simbel The great temple dug into the rock was dismantled and reassembled to be saved from the waters of Lake Nasser that was created with the construction of the Aswan Dam. It was an example of collaboration between nations to preserve this wonder of the Ancient Egypt. It is located about 300 km south of Aswan, now in Nubian territory and was built to give more glory to Ramses II the Great, who is deified and sitting next to Ptah, Amon and Ra. The current border between Egypt and Sudan is a few meters from the temple.
