Egyptian Goddess Mut
Mut or the vulture goddess was the sky goddess and mother of all creation. She was considered wife of Amon and was worshiped in Thebes, in Karnak, next to Amon and Jonsu, and also in Tanis and Sais.
The temple of Karnak was dedicated to Amon and also the Temple of Luxor. Between the two temples there was a road on which during the annual festival of Opet processioned the image of Amon moving between the two temples. Amon-Ra traveled from Karnak to Luxor accompanied by Mut and Jonsu to visit Amon-Min
.
Mut appears named in the Book of the Dead and his mission was that the mummy will not decompose.
Mut is represented with the double crown with a vulture headdress and was written:
